Matt is a Minnesota original and green industry veteran. With a record over 23 years long Matt’s experience and knowledge is evident to all that work with him. He has been singled out by his peers with multiple awards and recognition from all facets of the industry; including World Class Design and Construction Awards to features in industry catalogs and design publications like LUX Design. A seasoned professional Matt’s design philosophy is “to create the most sustainable and diverse landscape possible, while maintaining unity and conforming to the requirements set forth by the client”. Matt’s design expertise is complemented by his diverse background, drawing on skills he developed in the graphic design, botanical and floricultural production industries. Matt is not only a family man but also an ardent plantsman and spends much of his free time working his organic garden with his wife and son or studying plants in the field while camping in remote locations.
